Thinking About Rosh Hashannah

in torah •  7 years ago

It's now the 14th of Elul and the celebration of Rosh Hashannah is right around the corner. I've been meditating on a passage from Tanach, Yermiyah 17:14, for the last few days and it really represents my heart for my season of life coming into the new year.

״רפאני יהוה וארפא הושיעני ואושעה כי תהלתי אתה״

"Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved; for you are my praise."

As my way of reflecting on this portion, I arranged the letters into a Star of David as there are 37 letters and 37 is a star number.

May we all be written and sealed for a good year!
