Storm Chaser Aaron Jayjack tracked tornadoes through northern Alabama on 03-19-2018 as the NWS SPC had issued a PDS (Particularly Dangerous Situation) Tornado Watch. Conditions in Northern Alabama on this day were ripe for strong winds, big hail, deadly lightning, and strong tornadoes.

A tornado would touch down in Russellville, Alabama. Giant hail as big as softballs would damage and destroy Cullman, Alabama and the surrounding areas causing many millions in damage to such places as car dealerships. Later, this same storm would produce a tornado in Jacksonville, Alabama causing significant damage to the Jacksonville State University. No deaths were reported.
