The release of Total War: Three Kingdoms on PC was announced by SEGA Europe. The new strategic title created by The Creative Assembly enables players to plunge into the epic power struggles of China warlords of the second century.
The player takes control of one of these legendary leaders in the midst of the collapse of the great Han dynasty, with the task of establishing a powerful empire and uniting the nation. Three Kingdoms offers players an evocative portrayal of this turbulent age and a series of new instruments inspired by the period.
Three Kingdoms marks another step forward for the Total War series with enhanced diplomacy, deeper interaction levels of character and opportunities for spying.
"We have created one of the most profound strategic experiences of the franchise with Three Kingdoms," said game director Janos Gaspar. "We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved in representing the rich culture of China and the evolution it represents for the Total War." To date, the Total War series has sold 25 million copies and has an average of 1.2 million active players each month. Total War: Three Kingdoms are currently available on PC and can be purchased from Steam or other specialist retailers. The title is also available in the Limited Edition.
