The way global warming/climate change are talked about in the media, you would think that everybody fell into one of two camps. 1) global warming alarmists who are convinced the world is going to end soon and 2) global warming deniers who also believe the earth is flat
It isn't quite that simple. Below is an article that expresses an alternate view and delves into the logical conclusion of one of those extremes.
I wonder how many global warming enthusiasts have thought through the full implications of their fears of a looming apocalypse. If it is true that global warming threatens the very survival of life on Earth, then all other considerations must, by necessity, be secondary to preventing global warming from happening. Environmentalism, like all –isms, can thus become totalitarian.

Good, Darth. I would have used tags "news" and "politics" to try to get this piece more widely read. It's important.
