The Dniester Canyon is one of the seven natural miracles of Ukraine and one of the biggest canyon both in this country and Europe as well. It is reaching 156 miles. There is one of the most beautiful river of Europe, the second biggest river in Ukraine – the River Dniester. Its general strength is 846 miles.
Ukrainian, Polish and Australian scientists recorded about 175 kinds of rare and disappearing plants and animals in Canyon. They described the row of unique “Dniester Walls”, outcrops of rocks, waterfalls which are unique and there are no equivalents in the world, picturesque landscapes which are valuable in recreation and environment protection relations. That’s why the travelers wish to meet closer and deeper with unrepeatable nature of Dniester
Canyon is getting strong more and more. Canyon is famous in the word because of unique geological memorials. Various rocks by their origin have moved through all geological and biological periods, they have been bystanders of many evolution events for 420 million years. Canyon is located in the west of Ukraine moreover the left and the right sides of it are belongs to the different regions: the left side belongs to Ternopil and Khmelnytsky regions but the right one - to Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi regions.
