Hello Splinterlands Maniacs :)

Another tournament from the past weekend, and another report. You can see the tournament details on the screen below:

The tournament started with 25 players, so I had to fight in the qualifier round in which my opponent was @newageinv. The result was 2-1 in my favour. The teams in the battles looked like this:

In the second round my opponent was @rentmoney. This time the result was 2-0 in my favour. The teams in the battles looked like this:

In the third round I was facing @themightyvolcano. Strong oponent, but the result was 2-1 in my favour. And the teams in battles looked like this:

@masterthematrix was my opponent in the semifinal round. I was expecting a hard game, but to my surprise the result was 2-0 in my favour. The teams in battles looked like this:

I played the final against @cyguy and it was very difficult match. Finally, I won 3-2. The teams in battles looked like this:

So, my score is the first place and 8 Steem prize. Finally a win for me! :) I wish to play more tournaments like this, I mean with strong oponents and really good play from my side.

Do you know why it was renamed from Steem Monsters to Splinterlands? :)

I think this is some kind of preparation to move the game outside the Steem Blockchain. But I'm not sure.
