Toyota fail

So,  Japanese automotive company Toyota is recalling 3.37 million vehicles  worldwide because of possible defects in airbags and fuel vapor  recovery systems, according to Reuters.

What ? Again ? Toyota, when you stop make dangerous vehicles ?

This is not the first time the company reviews its vehicles due to defects in the Takata airbags. In June 2015, Toyota Motor and Nissan Motor Co recalled more than 3 million vehicles worldwide due to this problem.

Since  2008, more than ten vehicle manufacturers, including Honda, Suzuki,  Nissan, Toyota, and the Mazda, is recalling about 24 million vehicles  because of problems with airbags, issued by Takata. They caused the death of 11 people and injury for about 100.  Disclosure pillows occurred with excessive force, which was accompanied  by the release of dangerous to human metal fragments.

In turn, Takata stated that prolonged exposure to heat with high humidity can cause such effects. In November 2015 Takata has agreed to pay $ 70 million fine for violating safety regulations. At the moment, the company faces another fine of up to $ 130 million.

Takata  also agreed to recognize defective about 34 million vehicles produced  in the United States and equipped with faulty airbags in May this year. This product recall automotive industry has become the largest in US history.

Despite  this, Toyota and its Hino and Daihatsu units of the fourth year in a  row managed to maintain world leadership in auto sales. During 2015 the corporation sold 10.15 million vehicles, while index by 0.8% less than 2014).

But  already in the 1st quarter of 2016, the German Volkswagen Group,  despite the impact of the diesel scandal, could wrest the palm of the  Japanese automaker. The  German manufacturer has sold over this period by 0.8% more than their  vehicles - 2.51 million units, than its closest competitor.
