Squishy

I was out yesterday due to some personal meetings. But I got something good out of it, namely: Squishy

So to explain, Squishy or squishies are sponge or foam-base attachments that are decorated and molded in cute forms. They were popularized as the toy being attached to the phone cases (personal note: don't attach them to the back of the cases, you'll never be able to remove or to make your phone lie flat). Their sizes vary from small as phone attachments to event huggable variants.

A friend ordered some so I included myself in the list and got some orders. I got a gray cat.

They're particularly good as if stress balls, but I haven't tested their stress thresholds there so holds up in the smash and squeezing. I prefer messing with it as it lies beside my computer and I'm thinking or a substitute when I feel the urge to prod something. I assume they can get disfigured or torn or destroyed over time.

As safe materials, they can be attached by various mediums from tacky glue to super clue. It'll depend on the case. For maintenance, baby powder for light cleaning and lotion for a heavier mess. They say not to soak or clean with water because it will absorb the moisture and become less squishy.

Typical warnings for small items exist - like they aren't for children below 3 years old.

Purpose? Well they're really just a cute version of a stress ball.

I'll post my loot some other day when I have a better camera on hand. Watch out for them pictures in the future.
