Gheorghe "Gica" Hagi or famously known as Gheorghe Hagi is a renowned retired former professional football player who played as an attacking midfielder. As of now, he is the manager as well as the owner of the FC Viitorul.
Given the nicknamed the Maradona of the Carpathian after the Argentinian legend Diego Maradona, he has played for famous Spanish La Liga clubs such as Real Madrid and Barcelona. He has represented at the FIFA World Cup in 1990,1994 and 1998 as well as Euro Championships in 1984,1996 and 2000.
