İçerisinde kayıtların birbiriyle kriptografik elementlerle bağlı olduğu ve sürekli büyüyen dağıtık bir veritabanıdır. İlk defa bitcoin ile denenmiştir.
Blockchain teknolojisi geleceğimizi nasıl etkileyecek?
Bu teknoloji yavaş yavaş her sektöre girmeye başladı. Önümüzdeki birkaç yıl içinde saçma, gereksiz, geleceği yok, ponzi diyen kişiler de bu teknolojiyi kullanmaya başlayacak, zorunda kalacak. Çünkü, teknolojiyi, yenilikleri reddetmek kimseye bir şey kazandırmaz, aksine geride kalmanıza neden olur. Nasıl ki bankaları, bankamatik kartlarını reddeden kişiler maaşını almak için bu karta mecbur kaldıysa; önümüzdeki yıllarda bu teknolojiyi kullanmaya da mecbur kalacaktır. Başka örnekler verecek olursak, ileride taksilerde, marketlerde, alış veriş merkezlerinde, fatura ödemelerinde vs. ödemeyi bu teknolojik alt yapıyla donatarak akıllı telefonla halledebileceğimizi düşünüyorum. Ayrıca bu teknolojinin ne özellikleri var bunu araştırmadan çamur attıklarını anlayacaklar. Bitcoin e gelecek olursak o da blockchain teknolojisini kullanıyor. Fakat buna mecbur kalacağımızı iddia etmiyorum.
