Film, Jane Austen’in beş kız kardeş, Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Kitty ve Lydia Bennet’i anlatan romanından uyarlanmış. Film , Elizabeth ile yakışıklı ve aşırı kontrollü beyefendi Darcy üzerine odaklanıyo. Aşkı öyle saf ve güzel bir şekilde anlatmışlar ki 2 saat boyunca sıratarak izleyebiliyorsunuz. En azından ben öyleydim :) Her izlediğimde aynı tadı alıyorum. Normalde çok fazla aşk filmi izleyen biri değilimdir genelde fantastik,aksiyon ve bilim kurgu izlerim ama filmin öyle bir büyüsü var ki kaç kez izlediğimi hatırlayamıyorum bile.
Elizabeth Bennet rolünü Keira Knightley canlandırıyor. Kendisinin tatlılığını Karayip Korsanlarından biliriz. Keira filmde öylesine masum ve çocuksu ki izlerken kadına tekrar hayran kalmıştım.
Önyargının insan ilişkilerinde ne büyük bir katil olduğunu, bu katilin mağduru olmamak için ne kadar dikkatli olmamız gerektiğini çok iyi anlatan bir film. Darcy’nin gururu, Elizabeth’in de önyargısı..
