Işığın etkisiyle, saydam olmayan nesnelerin, yatay ve dikey zemin üzerine düşürdüğü silüete, gölge diyoruz. Birde, belli belirsiz silüetler vardır. Yoğun ışık ile koyu silüetin, dar alanda sıkışmasıyla ortaya çıkar. Ben ışık ve gölgeden ziyade, araya sıkışan o belli belirsiz ışık hüzmesine takmış bulunuyorum, bu aralar 😏
Çok eski tarihlerde; insanlar, gölgenin nesneye uzaklığıyla tahmin ederlermiş saati. Gölgenin, yaşam alanı üzerinde ki etkisi ortada. Konu başlığımız olan yarı gölgeyi, gri alan olarakta tanımlayabiliriz. Siyah ve beyazın hüküm sürdüğü bir dünyada, gri'yi çoğu zaman görmezden geliriz.
Halbuki gölgenin ve ışığın çaresiz kaldığı o alanı, gerçek hayata güncellersek; diplomasiyi ve ciddiyeti temsil eden ağır bir havaya sahip olduğunu görürüz. Fakat çoğu zaman gözüken kısmın, arka planında kalır detay, maalesef.
