Austin is the state capital of Texas. It is an island city with lots of parks, lakes and beautiful outdoor spaces.

Austin is very famous for being home to the largest urban bat colony in North America known as the #CONGRESS-BRIDGE-BATS. This colony is thought to have 1.5 million Mexican Bats.

The bats live under the bridge. Most of the colony leave the bridge when it is getting dark in the evening. They fly to the forest near the bridge to find some food. If you wish to see the bats, you need to arrive at the bridge 30 minutes before the sunset.

Many people watch the bats from the bridge above and some people (like me) prefer watching them in the park on the southeast side of the bridge

It is one of the best unusual tourist attractions I have ever seen so far. If you were to go to Texas, don't forget to experience the statement bats in Austin.
