Bu görmüş olduğunuz fotoğrafı ziyarete gittiğim memleketim olan Aydın ilinin Söke ilçesinde çektim. Bu sokak benim ilkokul yıllarımda sık sık geçtiğim bir sokaktı. Hatırlıyorum da o zamanlar öğle arlarında okuldan çıkıp yemek yemek için bu sokaktan bol bol geçerdim. Yıkık dökük duvarlara sahip iken; düzenlemesi yapılarak şimdi böyle güzel bir hale kavuşmuş.
Duvarda, merkezde olacak şekilde iki sütun var. O sütunlara bakacak olursak:
İlk sütunda; Atatürk'ün ilk defa Söke'ye gelişini anlatmışlar. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk'ün Kuşadası'na davet edildiğini ve geleceğini duyan Sökeliler, Söke'ye de gelmesi ricasında bulunmuşlardır.
İkinci sütunda ise; Atatürk'ün ikinci defa Söke'ye gelişi anlatılmış.
Sokağı gördüğüm zaman çok şaşırdım; hem eski anılarım gözümde canlandı hem de bu güzel düzenlemeyi çok sevdim. Eminim böyle bir düzenleme için Söke halkı da çok memnundur.
Atatürk'ün nasıl bir insan olduğunu anlamak yetmiyor ne yazık ki. Bir de onu yaşamak gerekiyor. Ama ne yazık ki günümüz Türkiye'sinde bu abes bir şey. Atatürk demek bile dikkat çeker hale geldi...
