ÖĞRENCİDEN
Aşağıdaki şiiri 2013 yılında sevgili öğrencim Rojîn Salman yazmıştı bana. 25 yaşında başladığım öğretmenlik hayatımın ilk ve unutulmaz yılıydı. Rojîn son sınıf öğrencisiydi ve üniversiteyi kazanıp gitmesinden sonra bir daha iletişim kuramadık. Beni yıllar sonra bulmasını istediğim öğrencilerimin başında gelir. Bu yazdığımı okumayacak belki; fakat burada dursun böylece. Rojîn'in el yazısıyla yazdığı şiiriyle veda paragrafının olduğu kâğıdı halen saklıyorum.

Karanlık bir gecenin korkunç sokaklarında
Sert haykırışlar ve sessiz çığlıklar
Gökyüzü çok kara ve ürpertici
Senin sert, sonsuz gözlerin
Korkmuş, koşmuş soluk soluğa
Issız, yalnız ve derin
Karanlıkta parlayan korkunç bir yıldız
Ama senin yanan ve sonsuz gözlerin
Acılar, derin sevgiler ve terk edişler
Acımasız, korkunç, aşağılık yaratıklar
Ama beliren sonsuz bir ışık
Sen ve senin sonsuz gözlerin
