Turkish Musicians - Mustafa Sandal

Mustafa Sandal was born in Istanbul on January 11, 1970. From the age of 6 to 7, he understood that music will have a very important place in music life. While listening to a song, he was studying the formation and structure of this piece of sound trying to distinguish the sounds of the instruments. Sandal, who completed high school education in Switzerland, also did university studies in America.

He writes songs and his first works were performed by the known turkish stars Zerrin Özer, Hakan Peker, Yonca Evcimik and Ayşegül Aldinç.

During this period, Turkish Pop Music received considerable demand with his compositions and lyrics. It was a rare situation in Turkey to catch such popularity with only words and compositions.

And in 1994, with his song "Suc Bende" Mustafa Sandal were ready to explode. With 15 million cassettes and 200 thousand CDs sold, Mustafa Sandal was the staple of Turkey. He reached a record with 140 concerts in Turkey and 30 concerts in Europe.

He wanted to become competent in all aspects of music. In 1995, he wrote his name as arranger and music director for Sibel Alaç's album "Adam". In 1996 he moved to London to resume his music studies from another window. Two years later, he returned with the album "Gölgede Aynı". Sales were again a record number. 2 million tapes and 600 thousand CDs. And of course it came with a record concert program; full 140 concerts...

Mustafa Sandal protected the sound, also known as his next album "Detay". He used soft rhythms and a strong background. "Detay" back vocals were Ozkan Ugur, Ferda Anıl, Yarkın Feyyaz Kuruş and Reyhan Karaca with star names such as Sibel Alaþ were crowded.

The latest Mustafa Sandal album "Akışına Bırak" was accompanied by a pleasant and emotionally charged piece in its own interpretation and style.
