- 2h Pentel GraphGear1000 - 0.3 Versatile Pencil (for fine details in light sections)
- 4b mechanical pencil - 0.5 (for fine details and dark spots)
- 8b Faber-Castell drawing pencil (for dark areas)
- 9h Derwent drawing pencil (for line drawings, pre-toning and light sections)
