Understanding KRATOS solutions to improve commodities trading

In this article, I am going to continue with the previous post and explain the rest of the solutions that KRATOS is planning to develop, to accomplish their the goal of creating a platform capable of offering well-thought features that can facilitate the trading of commodities.

So far, it has been discussed that KRATOS will have the capability of handling KYC/AML (Know your customer / Anti Money Laundering) processes, and risk management, but there are still a few aspects that need to be mentioned.

It is important to notice that these features work as modules, which means they can work independently, meaning that users can use the one they wish depending on the situation.

• Trading: the platform KRATOS is creating, will allow its users to place orders and easily execute them, all through KRATOS own easy to use interface. This way, the trading activity can happen within a secure platform that uses the immutability of blockchain technology to safely store all the relevant data.

• Trade finance: as mentioned in the previous article, smaller companies can have a hard time accessing enough liquid capital to execute big purchases, to solve that problem, KRATOS is planning to provide a “… platform to facilitate fundraising for TCR processed qualified trades”. ^Source The extensive experience of the KRATOS team will surely be a big help in order to accomplish this ambitious idea.

• Logistics: due to the incredibly high amount of money from these trades, and the fact that parties from different countries are usually involved, handling the logistics can be very challenging, therefore, KRATOS is planning to make this hard task easier for those that decide to adopt its platform.

• Insurance: everything related to the insurance of the assets involved in these trades can be handled through KRATOS platform, if there is a problem with a particular operation, it would be much easier for the person or company to handle the corresponding solutions directly to the platform that is already in use. The fact that all of the important data is securely stored on a blockchain can make it much easier to solve any dispute that might arise when doing transactions.

• Accounting: having all the numbers in proper order is extremely important to maintain good financial health and avoid serious issues in the future. KRATOS is planning to add an accounting module in June of this year, which will facilitate these type of tasks and help operations run smoother.

• Human resources and administration: the benefits of this module are very similar to the accounting module, with KRATOS managing all of the administrative information will be a less tedious job, and it can allow these transactions to be executed faster than otherwise.

By having all these different modules, KRATOS can become the ultimate platform that companies can use to handle everything related to their commodities trading activities. In KRATOS own words, it is the “World's 1st Blockchain & Cloud-Based Hybrid ERP” ^Source, so it is fair to say this project has a lot of potential of being successful.
