The Saga Continues: Finding the right marketplace

As a passionate collector and seller of trading cards with a tech background it's only natural to have an interest in blockchain and p2p technology.

Over the past few weeks I have been exploring a number of peer to peer / blockchain marketplaces. This technology works perfectly for the digital trading market but I'm starting to think not so much for the traditional trading card markets.

Traditional collectors are old school, they can be uptight at times and resistant to change within the hobby, so getting visibility has been a big issue.

I have tried a number of very impressive platforms and I was mostly impressed with my experience. I just think card collectors may not be ready to leave the comfort and safety of their own home yet, in this case eBay, amazon and forums (yep forums).

With that said I'm not giving up, I've picked openbazaar to have one last run at it. This time populate it with a wider range of cards, create more visibility and do some more convincing.... please don't make me return to eBay

Openbazaar store: Cardboard Empire

Note: I am currently working on this store so listings will continue to grow over the next few days.
