Another day - another trade #23. Steem HF20 hurdle is over...

...or not?

Clearly HF20 was a shock to steem community. And considering that any system needs to adapt to a new set of rules to live by, I can't see now how we could grow in price short-term. Large SP-holders had to move on with their ROI slammed for 5 days of voting and small special cases of stakeholders like 15 delegated Sp swarms had their income vanished or gradually reduced at least. Mass-voting services' future is not ensured.

How the economy adapt to such changes is not an obvious matter right now.

Nice

Hello @bronevik!

I see you are an active trader so I wanted to know your opinion about the implications of eliminating transaction fees on exchanges, like digitex is planning to do when their futures exchanges is released.

Because the obvious conclusion would be that traders will enjoy higher profits right?

On the one hand these exchanges are struggling for market share and this move will definitely attract new users to them. Traders will enjoy less overall expenses - for sure. But at the end of day zero-fee will spoil market signals and hurt them. For example coinmarketcap doesn't include such exchanges in their pricings.

Thanks for your interes to my humble blog.
