This is fine, it's fine....

Let's take a snapshot of where we are right now.

S&P 500 is at all time highs, and has been nearly every single day since 2016 Presidential Election Results, Non stop new highs is the new normal. This is fine...

Oil is at two year highs and looks to be retracing the big down move by heading up to $76. Yep $70 oil is on the horizon. All while China is about to release the PetroYuan - oil priced in Yuan not USD. This is fine...

The US Dollar (DXY) is a few hairs short of breaking below the $91 level, a weak dollar really hurts the entire world and will cause some major shifts in the way the world trades. See Petro Yuan. This is fine...

Bill Gross - King of Bonds - calls the US Treasuries bear market this week, followed quickly by rumors (confirmed/unconfirmed?) that China has stopped purchasing US Treasuries. This is fine...

Gold takes off higher amongst all of this. A pretty good sign that someone is scared about the risk in the world. This is fine...

All of this on a Friday afternoon going into the weekend. What could go wrong right? Markets are closed (except crypto), and we could come back Sunday afternoon to some major shifts in the world. It's when markets are walking such a tight rope and so much on the line that the craziness happens.

Hot points right now:

-Mexico leaves NAFTA
-North Korea is always a wild card
-Saudi Arabia exploiting the moment in Iran, launches an attack.
-Debt Jubilee

These are what I have on my radar over the weekend. This is fine...

Who was Jesse Livermore?
Jesse Lauriston Livermore (July 26, 1877 – November 28, 1940) was an American investor and security analyst.[1] Livermore was famed for making and losing several multimillion-dollar fortunes and short selling during the stock market crashes in 1907 and 1929.

But most importantly he wrote Reminiscences of a Stock Operator under the pen name Edwin Lefèvre. A must read for anyone who operates in any market.
