Trading Is Profitable. So Don't Freak Out And Just Do it.steemCreated with Sketch.

people keep telling you to hold for the long term.
they tell you to buy low and sell high.
and they keep telling you holding is better than trading.

however, sometimes trading can be more profitable than holding for the long term. what happens if the coin your are holding get overtaken by a newer coin with better and similar features? what if you had the chance to make a 100x off your investment, but you just hesitated and missed the opportunity of a lifetime?

ethereum provides a service or utility.
most ico just scam coins.
or are just a get rich-quick scheme by developers.

Interesting stuff. I have been investing for about 2 weeks. Most of my gains came from holding ETH.

I am curious to see your thoughts on ICO's

icos only worth investing if there is a real team behind it and features that make a coin unique.
however, a team of developers and the community support is what makes a coin successful when features can be copied by another coin.

I hear you - and I think with hindsight it's definitely been the case recently. (I started ordering Ethereum mining parts when the price was $53 and it's gone up $300 while I've been waiting for some of the parts), however giving advice for anyone that has no clue what it's all about to "just jump in" could end up with people risking/losing money they cannot afford out of their ignorance and fear of missing out - which is where all the proper traders make their money. Tell the desperate people to buy so your price goes up and you can take profit, so there should always be some cautionary "do your own research" advice along with any 'get involved' comments.
