I must admit I've tried swing trading in the past, and not very good at it. I'm getting better though, more selective, more patience for better setups.

I'm a contrarian, As soon as the price rebounded off the top of the channel I had a sell order just under that red dot for a false breakout. The price just kept going up so it never got filled. C'est la vie ! :-)

I'm a contrarian trader too. :). i play demand and supply. no lines no indicators. as simple as it can be, the simpler the better for me.
