CHART ART: Is AUD/USD in Play After Reversal Candle?

in trading •  7 years ago

GOOD MORNING STEEMIT!

I'm blogging from the beautiful south coast of New South Wales today so just a quick morning look before I duck out for a sneaky round of golf. I'm looking out the balcony toward the course right now and it looks mint!

Back into the realm of forex trading today, with a look at the Aussie Dollar. For me, it's all about flicking through my watchlist and finding higher time frame levels that stand out to me. if we have one, then we have a market in play.

AUD/USD Daily

I'm on my laptop so can't easily post charts, but I want you to actually do some work yourself by zooming out on the higher time frame level to see why I've drawn this zone as I have.

But as always, I find the higher time frame resistance zone and wait to see if it holds. Now while it looks good for a reversal, it's still just an indecision candle at the moment.

AUD/USD 15 Minute

Zoom into the 15 minute chart and we can see that it does in fact look bearish.

We have short term support turned resistance which price has continued down from.

If we get another pullback on Monday, I'm going to short it.

Peace.

It really is man.

thanks you!

You're quite welcome...

Great post. I like your style of finding setups and narrowing down to lower timescales.
This could be a nice setup! I also like short NZDUSD and will have another look at them after today's close.
I like the GBP currently and went long against AUD, NZD and EUR (bit late on EURGBP!) this morning. Made a post about it here https://steemit.com/trading/@oroblanco/trade-alert-long-gbpaud
I am following you now as your "chart art" setups are similar to my own trading and it's nice to have different perspectives. Feel free to follow my trades if you are interested too.
Good luck!

Thanks mate, I've given you a follow back. Always trying to build the trading aspect of the Steemit community :)
