There were three things that happened on this awesome Sunday. One had been planned for months in advance, the second was a total surprise, and the the third is always a gift.
The first goal had been planned and that was to visit the tastytrade people for the "He Said, She Said" tour. The takeaways from this was that even ordinary people can be traders. It doesn't necessarily mean that we can become "The Wolf of Wall Street", but that it will also help us become less risk averse. I think that all of us steemers are risk takers. Why else would be here? Another takeaway is that you can learn to be decisive. Thanks for a great start of a day!

The second goal was that the event took place in Naval Training Center (NTC) in San Diego. In 1985 I spent 6 months there learning about electronics. Actually it was surprising in that it was like being in bizzaro world. Everything has changed. It is now a public and private space. A lot of the buildings are still there and a lot of buildings are gone. Like my barracks and school. San Diego has really outdone it self in converting the public spaces. There is now a beautiful park where there used to be an asphalt field (The Grinder). There are pleanty of restuarants.
The third goal was to be able to spend the morning and afternoon with my fiance. It is a gift that she wants to spend the rest of her life with me. She patiently listening to me reminiscent about things that happened over thirty years ago. She was really impressed by all the flowers. Honey, I Love You!
Bonus goal, was I got to talk about Tom Cruise and how some of the scenes from Top Gun were filmed there on NTC.
It was a wonderful day.
