Yesterday I told you it was your last chance to invest due to STEEM before it broke through the 30,000 Satoshi value point, making it a viable potential investment for traders.... for the first time in months.
I have been crypto trading for just over 6 months and it appears I have learned a few tricks.
The day before yesterday (before it broke this price barrier), the value of 1 STEEM was $1.08
At the moment it broke the barrier it was at $1.30
Looking at Bittrex now it is currently at $1.63 and still going up.
Currently it is worth 38,888 Satoshi and it has indeed been rocketing up since breaking through the 30,000 barrier.
It is my belief that it will continue to rise until it hits the next barrier. Which due to the basic nature of our human brains will be at the next round number.... 40,000 Satoshi.
It will linger here for a while (hopefully not for too long!) before breaking through to move its way on up to the 60,000 barrier.
See how it works now?
It ain't complicated.
So, are you ready?
I ask this question because most of you will have your STEEM as STEEM POWER, which is absolutely the right thing to do!
However, at times like this it is advisable to power down for a few weeks and have some STEEM on standby, ready to sell if Steem does infact make it to $3... or beyond!
REMINDING US WHY WE LOVE STEEMIT & STEEM SO VERY MUCH!!!!
What to do with your STEEM & SBD when the value peaks
Get an account with Bittrex immediately. You don't need to give any personal information for the basic account.
In having this trading account ready, should you feel like selling you can transfer immediately to Bittrex and find the right moment to sell for BTC.
And either invest that into other coins or cash it out for cold hard fiat!
Please leave a comment below if you would like me to make a new tutorial film - released through the following accounts:
I am more than happy to walk you through the important process of moving your STEEM or SBD from Steemit and selling it for BTC on Bittrex.
Credit must go to @chron for the steem fractal seen at the top of this post
It has been merged with the sunrise I shot one hour ago!
good

Man, DO NOT SELL if steem makes it to 3$, hold!, it will go much higher over that!... Actually it should go over 10$ or more, and after that there is no limit...

Totally agree! However I have a family of 4 to support and this is my income ;)
So don't have much choice currently. But with consistent quality posts, the steem keeps rolling in :)
Thanks for your support 🙏🏻

I think you can do ok selling a little bit, but try to hold as much as you can!... Actually, the higher the steem price goes, the higher your rewards are going to be in steem dollars, so you can cash out those! :D

Love hearing it 'the steem keeps rolling in.' I am head of 4 here too. What is it about staying powered-up? Interesting to learn a bit about powering down, strategies for profit taking.
Does the steem were are powered up with still appreciate with price increases?
When would a steem newbie consider powering down?

All depends on your strategy. When price goes up, so does your power. When price begins to drop, power drops too. As a strategy, it may help to power down when price begins to drop after a steep rise. But this should occur if it seems likely that the drop in price will continue south well after you have powered down. Hope this helps! Take care.

Great Article! I agree with you that on the long run Steemit price will increase again and the current price level is an excellent opportunity to invest in some discounted Steem and power up

I did not know the awesome potential of Steem. I sold Komodo at 50% profit only to buy Litecoin, which is stagnant now. :(
Also, waiting for NEO to cross $ 43 so I can get an ROI.
I will hit on Steem as soon as I can!

By the way, do you still take care of the Steemit Shop?

Way to go @libertyranger! Steem is on the rise. I think one should buy in now; even if it means selling off other stagnant crypto. The steem community is growing rapidly. The more this growth continues, the positive impact it would have on the price of steem.

You are totaly right about human brain psychology. I am doing my posts 50/50 but so far just powered up with my SBD once the price went down. This way i am getting the most STEEM from my posts. I am not an investor and i am not powering down untill STEEM will get at least to $10. And even then :)))

Nothing wrong with that approach. Catch SBD at the right moment and you can see a 50% increase

Great article. Thank you. Just one questions please. I'm new and was confused by "STEEM as STEEM POWER". When we claim our reward, do we just leave it alone or do we have to do something to change our steem to steam power? And how? Thanks again!
