Should You Quit Your Job And Trade Full-time?

in trading •  7 years ago  (edited)

I'm just a newbie in cryptos and trading. I call myself investor, because you first get used to it, then try to become one and later you notice that you are one. It has worked before, then why not with investing? 😉

My long story short, so that there are no illusions. 🙄

And I became Dolphin on Steemit because i messed up a lot and diversified here. I already lost a lot of money in potential profit and trying to live with that. Now I'm hoping to do whatever it takes to catch the next bulls run and this time to cash out. 😂

One lesson that I got - you can become somebody only by acting and making mistakes. Sometimes they are not another mistake but wise decision. The tricky thing is that you do not know what this decision is going to be.

@scorer , I like what you said at the beginning..

'I call myself investor, because you first get used to it, then try to become one and later you notice that you are one'

that is law of attraction. One's thoughts can change one's world directly, when thinking about certain things strongly , it will make them appear in one's life. That is called ' the secret" , one of my favorite books and TV documentary

Regarding to trading, besides practice and keep practice with a good trading strategy, also one needs a good mindset. For that, I would like to share the link about these 30 quotes from philosophy that will help one to gain perspective. I love them, it benefits me in my trading...

Some time ago I was excited about The Secret and the next one - The Meta Secret, that actually explains why you could not achieve what you dreamed about. To make it happened you have to act on it! 😂

Since that time I have read hundreds of various books about how to get rich, business, psychology, people success stories, habits etc. Now I'm reading every day. That is a useful habit I made. It gives the answers or helps when you are depressed - you can read some motivational stories on how others succeeded or were struggling with their lives.

About quotes - I'm not so passionate. Few days ago I read a book - Trading: The Best of the Best, Top Trading Tips for our Times by Brian C. Lund

It has a lots of tips from real traders. Some of those tips I even fully understand. You can guess which ones. Yeah, the ones I failed myself.

Even if I know something, it is different story when I have to implement it in real life. To do so, I have to be disciplined, track my activities and then analyze, make adjustments and try again. At least that is what I do.

thanks Scorer. I love to learn from experts, I will order the book later today..
My trading journey has had many ups and downs, I know my weakness, I am a woman,a very emotional trader, which is bad for trading, to avoid that, I designed my own EAs to avoid my trading pitfalls.. so far this year, I have been doing well. Now I need to be consistent, not breaking my rules, and be profitable in a long run...
Lets help each other in this trading journey...

I do not suggest that book. It was just an example. It was easy read, but nothing useful that I could take into habit. Only in case you need some quotes. 😉

But as a woman you have something even better - you have intuition. If you clean that and polish, I believe that is the best tool you could get.

Actually I'm working on "cleaning" my intuition from my Ego. Remember, the comment I made the other night? I truly believe that it was a "sign" that the trend has changed. By sign I mean your post, that song, that moment when I read it, and the chart at that exact moment, my feelings etc. If this trend confirms, then I have a lot of work to do, to polish this knowledge and better understand how my intuition works and how to make a better use of it.

Btw, I'm very impulsive and emotional trader as well. That is why I do not day trade. 🙄
