Jingki or someone who calls it jeungki is a traditional tool made from selected wood found in the Aceh forest that is used to pound rice, rice, sago etc.
Formerly, jingki was almost at every Acehnese house and during the month of Ramadhan Jingki would be used to process flour for cake ingredients at the time of the holiday. However, along with the development of the infinite age it has often not been used anymore. Only Acehnese who are resettled may still use Jingki. Whereas if only in the city just displayed in the museum.
Jingki's existence once taught the meaning of togetherness and cooperation in the team because after all Jingki could not operate or walk if only one person. In addition, the social meaning is very close to the existence of the jingki. That's a bit about Jingki or Jeungki as a traditional Acehnese pounder.
