Bamboo cannon is one of traditional Malay traditional game quite popular and well known in various regions Malay areas, even almost throughout the archipelago in general. Besides referred to as the bamboo cannon, in various areas of this game is also known as bamboo, bamboo sponge, long bumbung, and so on. This bamboo rifle game is usually played by the boys in order to enliven the fasting month before the holiday, and the commemoration of religious and customary holidays.
