American animated series produced by Metro Goldwyn Meyer (MGM) is fairly simple, that there is a cat and mouse who fight each other every day. Although simple, but the behavior of Jerry the mouse and Tom the cat always successfully provoke the laughter of the audience.

The Blue Cats Blues episode only lasted 4 minutes 58 seconds and became the end of Tom and Jerry's story.

The story itself is no longer centered around Tom trying to catch Jerry. But more to the love story between the two characters.

Told if Tom fell in love with the figure of a beautiful cat who became a prima donna. Tom must compete with other cats who also like the beautiful cat. Tom tries to do anything to melt the heart of the idol girl, from buying flowers, rings, to luxury cars.

However, Tom's efforts become useless because there is another cat named Bunch who turned out to be richer and can provide all the things desired by the beautiful cat.

On the other hand, Jerry has lived happily with his girlfriend. But Jerry feels weird because he's no longer bothered by Tom. Until finally Jerry went to look for Tom's whereabouts. Jerry also saw Tom's situation is very slumped because just left by her lover.

Things got worse when Tom found out if Bunch would marry his dream cats. Tom also decided to commit suicide on the train tracks.

As Tom sits on the tracks, Jerry finds out if his girlfriend is walking alongside another mouse and driving a car that says 'Get Married'. That made Jerry the same fate as Tom and decided to commit suicide on the railroad tracks.

Tragically, it turns out the hilarious story between the two figures of cat and mouse has to end very sadly in the last episode of Tom and Jerry.

Oh my lord, that is really depressing. I can’t believe such a big show that was a major part of my childhood, had such a depressing ending. I am actually a little disappointed that the creators made this fun lighthearted franchise that brought joy to so many people, take such a dark, depressing and sad ending. I feel like they may have possibly forgotten who their audience was. Especially since it was so sudden was probably the most depressing path the show could have taken. It must have been such a terrible time for the authors at the time, especially since they had so many other happy and joyful shows.

I don't think that's the last episode. Tom and Jerry films, ended and restarted by three different companies. and This Episode is the episode 103 of 114 of the first series. But yeah, it's tragic...

But I always imagined Tom & Jerry as actors and we are shown thier acted stories to us but not their life. Good Post.
