It's amazing how plans can often change for a person that really doesn't ever make plans or sets any serious goals for themselves. Infact I don't know what day it is a lot of the time. With that being said... I'm not at all surprised with myself that I have found me my hound dog in California on the pasific crest trail.
After our side adventure in El Cajon right outside of San Diego we shredded a few miles through the desert of southern California and made our way to Julian California. There I stayed for a few days and visited a really nice campground called Stagecoach campground... Awesome people that have very fair prices for a camp spot or cabins.
They even have a swimming pool that has direct sunlight all day long and a wonderful view.
The small hike on the pasific crest trail that I have so far experienced has been splendid and full of great visual wonders. There seems to be a lot more people on the pasific crest trail than I would have expected and I even got to see a few other hikers that I knew from other travels.
The desert is beautiful but it's a place that is not great for traveling with a dog... The pasific crest trail offers very little shade and not much water. I have decided to go north from here to Washington and take the trail south from the Canadian border.
She is not only my best friend but she is kinda the Boss Lady... So I can not very well keep hiking through the desert in the unshaded terrian and little water with my loyal hound dog.
Me and Rain Drop Hound Dog will not give up on getting as many miles as we can on any part of this earth, but I will always make sure that we are safe and she comes first.
Hopefully we can finish most of the PCT and come back here from traveling south and I am going to always remember our experience here.
Follow us down the trail and stay up to keep up with The All Terrain Cloud And Rain.
