A razor is a sharp object in the form of small, thin steel plates, mostly double-edged. A razor blade is a knife specifically used for shaving. A common razor blade is in the form of a thin blade that has two eyes on two sides made of steel, and is placed on a tool or its partner that is shaped like the letter T, made of steel or plastic. During its development, the razor blade used for shaving has a variety of forms and has a high degree of practicality. In the middle is a razor blade that has two blades that are placed on one side, to produce a shave that is even smoother than before, there is also a razor which has three razors on one side. Apart from the many knives, there are various accessories that are used for shaving so as not to injure them, such as a special cream soap used for shaving. Razors are thought to have appeared in the early days of human civilization, precisely in the Neolithic era. This is based on archaeological findings in the form of small stones that have been sharpened to resemble a knife and also shells with sharp edges. The world's first attempt at making a razor occurred during the civil war in America. At that time, there was a shaving pattern from General Ambrose Everett Burnside, commander of the Potomac army during the American Civil War, in which he let his beard grow thick from the side of the ear to the cheek. To get this result, he trimmed some of the hair on his face using a thin knife. A more practical razor was invented in 1895, by King Camp Gillette. The original idea was that when he was shaving, the blades were dull and needed sharpening. Gillette found it impractical, especially when things got rough. Finally, he designed a shaver that could be used at any time by changing the blade.
