It is one of those beautiful suburbs that happens to be positioned near the beach not far from my place. As long as I can remember Alexandra Headlands has been a highly busy and popular sought after tourist destination during the summer months. Occasionally when Ben and I feel like a dose of holiday magic we head down there for a walk along the paths strategically placed for the sea views.
Rocks, boulders and trees dominate this areas so naturally my post today is a double banger capitalising on @boulderMonday hosted by @shasta and @treetuesday hosted by @old-guy-photos....... I think .......and I apologise most sincerely @old-guy-photos if I have got it wrong. I am a forgetful Harry sometimes. If I am wrong please tell me who hosts @treetuesday.
Feast your eyes on this pretty late afternoon scene of people on the rocks beneath the tall pine trees standing proudly on hill looking out to sea. it is a perfectly pleasant end of the day activity.

It really was one of those pleasant 'I am so glad we came walks' as we recalled all our years of family fun holidaying when we lived 600 kilometres away for 26 years. Reminiscing is a most happy pastime.

Check out this gorgeous combined rocks and tree scene, it was like they were actually inviting us to walk down the steps. We did, we could not resist.

Trees are one of nature's most artistic treasures like this one asking me to take a photo of the view through its branches.

Looking down always pays off, because on this occasion Ben, who has the good spotting animal eyes found this little fellow sitting quietly under the trees watching us watching him.

Our turn around point was the Mooloolaba Surf Club which is the little suburb next door to Alexandra Headlands, and it provided a different kind of photo snapping opportunities, like the surfboard nestled in amongst the greenery.

To end off our fantastic walk on the beach in front of the Alexandra Surf Club was a classic Australian iconic scene one could wish for, board training nippers. Some of these children are bound to turn into surfers and lifeguards of the future. Nipper training takes place at all surf lifesaving clubs around the coast of Australia. Dedicated men and women willingly donate their time to teach eager young kids the skills of riding boards, swimming the surf, running races on sand and rescue skills. Training only occurs in the summer months.

Reluctantly we drove home promising ourselves that we will be back for another walk in a week or so. Thank you for joining us.
Cheers and Blessings

This sand drawing made me laugh! I have to say it is one of the best sharks I have seen.
