A new chapter

The first time i visited Kampot it was with my two vocal buddies and we played on rhythms on the river boat that goes down river to the sunset with a group of artists.
The next morning we had our breakfast at a cafe called simple things, They have a yoga space upstairs and so i asked if i would be able to teach a lesson of handstands, they agreed.
So my next trip to kampot i taught a handstand class at simple things, stayed a few days and chanced on the incredible spot by the river, Meraki its on the corner of the river and they have a really nice deck with a pool table and hammocks.
i was dancing on the nice wooden floor and enjoying the smoothest spot for rolling that i have found in Cambodia
Then someone asked me if i had seen the yoga studio. . . no i had not, so they took me over to this large wooden structure with a huge deck of the best floor i have seen in cambodia. . . a dancers dream!!
So i offered to come and run some movement workshops in return for getting to use the space and they said yes!! I'm sleeping in my hammock in the space now and my classs will begin next week.
I'm really exited to find this place and space, going to make the most of it,i'm not so injured anymore and so its time to move, to dance and balance!
If you happen to be in Kampot. . . come and move with me : )
