Hoi An, in Vietnam, was an important harbor city in Asia since the 5th century AD. People from all over the world did business here. The biggest amount of them were Chinese and Japanese. So today you can see Chinese culture , Japanese culture and Vietnamese culture blend with each other here. Since the 18th century AD, Hoi An as a harbor declined because of battle.
In Hoi An, you can see many characteristic buildings, Vietnamese typical handicrafts. You even can see a photo exhibition with photos about Vietnamese life scene along the river bank.
But the most amazing moment in Hoi An is the night time. When the night screen has hung down, Hoi An becomes the most romantic town. Hundred of colorful lanterns burst into bloom over your head.
