Lazise//Lake Garda//Italy

Today, I'm going to take a walk on Lake Garda, precisely in Lazise in the province of Verona.
A very beautiful place south-east of Lake Garda and consequently a very popular and popular tourist destination. The pedestrian area in the center has kept the buildings, doors and city towers intact, leaving the charm of the port city of the past intact.

The Scaliger castle is located near the south gate, like the nearby Villa Bernini - privately owned and therefore not open to visitors. The imposing castle with six towers and walkways bordered by battlements, was renovated in the 13th century by the Scaligeri, but has much older origins. Around the castle there is a beautiful park.

In the historic districts of Lazise you can admire old Venetian palaces, mostly grouped around the lagoon. In the center there are many typical restaurants and trattorias. Behind the city gate is Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, paved with white and pink marble. The shopping street is Corso Ospedale. To admire the city walls, we recommend Via Rocca, between the east gate and the south gate. Here you can walk away from traffic and confusion.

Today Lazise is known not so much for its history but for the many possibilities it offers to those who decide to spend holidays here.
