The Catacombs of Paris

This morning I've had Paris on my mind and my favorite sites to see when I visit. The first one that popped up was going to the Catacombs of Paris.

This underground ossuary, holds the remains of more than six million people in a very small part of an abandoned mine right under the city of Paris.

The following photos are from a recent trip to the catacombs. I really can't express how wonderful this subterranean exploration is and that it should not be missed. You'll be surprised how incredibly interesting it is and that it's not creepy at all.
