There is a museum inside in the mosque area. Tourists have to pay a small entrance fee of BDT 50 to visit the mosque. The museum next to the mosque is open from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm.untitled10.jpg
It has the many pillared interior that constitutes the real attraction. Suggestive of the great Mughal palaces of the period, and even of some of the great religious buildings of Europe, the superb pillars and the light they admit and the shadows they cast make the atmosphere of sanctity and durability. The Mosque is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.Shait-Gumbad-Mosque-Inside-View.jpgShait-Gumbad-Mosque-Entrance.jpgInside-View-of-Shait-Gumbad-Masjid.jpgShait-Gumbad-Masjid.jpgShait-Gumbad-Masjid-of-Bangladesh.jpg
