Langeoog Island (Germany)

I've never been in an island like Langeoog. It was really one of kind and I must say it was something new for me. Because usually, the beaches that we normally see are white sand beaches with crystal clear water. Langeoog, isn't the case.
Langeoog, first of all, is located in the northern part of Germany. It is one of the islands you can visit. If you want a a nice and relaxing vacation it is the perfect spot for you. Because you can breathe fresh air, like the whole day since cars are not allowed there (only electric cars). Your transport around the island is pretty much just bicycles.

To get to the island, you need to take a ferry. And the trip will take you like an hour to arrive to the island. And you get a cute train to get ti civilisation. The scenery is breathe-taking!

If you're planning a long period of time, there are houses that can be rented, good for a whole family. There are also hotels as well, but they are pretty expensive. It is best to plan your trip around 6 months or a year before since it's always fully booked especially during summer.
It's always cold and windy in this island. The weather is very unpredictable. It can be sunny and after a few minutes it can be rainy and windy so its advisable to always bring a rain coat or any jackets would do. But if you're lucky, you can stroll the beach and just enjoy the wind and the scenery.

There are a lot of restaurants in the island. And most of the their specialty are seafood of course. They are very fresh! You can also find crêpe stands, waffle stands, ice cream stands etc. So you have a lot of choices. But the downside is that, there is no night life in the island. After dinner time, you won't see anyone roaming around the streets.

It may not be everyone's cup of tea to go to an island like this, because usually we hear about parties and drinking, but this island is so peaceful and breathe-taking that it's worth the stay. I've never been so relaxed in my life during my vacation here.
