I visited this pyramid with a friend and my sons this week. There are many pyramids in Mexico. This one is 45 minutes from my house, and we just found it going on a drive and then following the signs pointing to a pyramid.

It is intended for visitors to be able to climb it as made obvious by the fact that it has an informational board on its highest point. It is surrounded by cool cacti and it is on a cool plateau. I had a good time, and I hope to take more visitors to see it in the future.

Wow! I honestly didn't know that there were pyramids outside of Egypt! So much for my general knowledge! Thanks for the info. Who built them? Are there any pyramids that are still intact like in Egypt?

This one we visited in Queretaro City a while back is more intact. They are a bit of a different style down here than in Egypt.

The pyramids are really look nice and outstanding signs. Very few of pyramids are saw outside of the Egypt! You hoped that's why I will be there as soon as possible to visit.

I love pyramids. I find this misercious because we are not sure why they were strategically placed around the world. Some believe pyramids created an energy field. Of course, there are many other concludes than them being only created as burial tombs. That’s adventurist to stand on top of one and observe the surroundings. Great fun.

I hope lots of people get a chance to visit Mexico! It is a beautiful place and a very welcoming culture.

magnificent photo's and it's on your doorstep too x

Beautiful Pyramids :)
