TAKE A TRIP
ALONG THE OREGON COAST USA
The Pacific ocean facing west along the Oregon coast where long beaches, huge sand dunes and rocky cliffs make up the landscape. The Coastal Mountain Range runs north to south and into California with the beach area only a few miles inland to the mountains and in some areas the mountains reach the sea. This mountain range sits between the sea and most of the rest of the USA. Scenic highway 101 runs along the coast from Canada to Mexico and is the only highway.

This picture is from the mountain range and that is the ocean far in the distance on a foggy day, town sits down there on a river that empties into the sea were salmon come to spawn.
Bridges over rivers link the small towns along the coast.
One of the rivers and Jetty that keep the sea in check. Whales come up the rivers too.
Sand Dunes reach up to 200 feet high !
Driftwood on the beach and a beautiful sunny sky !
