Traveller's Zen

All the experience I collected during my travels can be summarized in the following five sentences:

TRAVELLER'S ZEN

  • On your travels you will often feel tired, hungry and cold. Always carry something to sit on comfortably, something to dry your body and don't forget that well packed luggage and good shoes are the guarantee of satisfaction.

  • On your travels look around you a lot. The more you look around you the more you understand the place you are in.

  • On your travels you will often find yourself in a peculiar situation. If such a situation occurs, look for the easiest solution. If reasoning is of no help, allow your feelings to guide you.

  • On your travels you will meet many people that will get close to your heart in your transitory solitude. It is good to recognize those of them that can make your life richer. The rest of them - however good they might be - let them to walk their paths undisturbed and not to disrupt your own.

  • On your travels cultivate modesty, selflessness and openness. Never be rude towards those, whose land you are passing through.

Following this wisdom, my journey is always good.
