Better Moon, A Friendly Guesthouse in Thailand

When I visited Thailand in 30th June - 2 July 2018, I stayed in Better Moon, a friendly guesthouse in Bangkok. There are 9 rooms there.

At that time, I was placed in Mammii's Room, located on the 2nd floor. The room has bed, bathroom, warm water, internet network and breakfast that we can take at Better Moon Cafe which is located on the 1st floor. Old wooden furnitures in this place is also the main attraction.

In this eco-friendly guesthouse, Do not expect to find an elevator in Better Moon. We have to go up stairs, including if you want to iron or wash the clothes which is located on the 5th floor. This place does not also provide bottle drinks, but glasses are provided.

On the 1st floor, there is Better Moon Cafe which every day visited by young people to hang out. Here, visitors who bring "tumbler" will get a discount. In addition, various non-plastic products are introduced and sold to make people more aware of the importance of using eco-friendly materials, for example cloth-based fabrics, silicone pipettes, soaps made from 100 percent natural products, non-plastic spoons and forks and many others.

Papawee, since when did you build this place?" I asked the owner, a young woman I met on the second day in this place.
"It only stood 6 months and I built it with my sister."
"Why did you choose eco-friendly concept?" I asked again.
"Because in Thailand it's still hard to find an environmentally friendly place. Plastic problems are big problem in my country, so this is a small part of my solution."

We continued the conversation again, more on personal issues. During the conversation with he, I found Papawee as a young woman who cares about the condition of her surroundings. Proud!
