Europe Trip Part 1: Amsterdam; 歐洲之旅第一站: 阿姆斯特丹

Europe is always the most romantic place to visit. There are around 40 countries in Europe and each have their unique culture. Since nowadays railway system is well-developed, it is very convenient to travel around Europe. Last winter, I visited the Netherland, Germany and Switzerland. Now I am going to recall my experience and share it with you.

歐洲是一個很浪漫的地方。小小的歐洲就有40多個國家，每個國家都各有文化特色。歐洲鐵道相當發達，所以在歐洲旅行是十分方便的。上一個冬天，我就到訪了荷蘭，德國和瑞士。我現在將會和你分享我的故事。

My first destination is the capital of the Netherland- Amsterdam. The city central station “Amsterdam Centraal” is very near the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. It was Christmas and there was a big Christmas tree in front of the Amsterdam Centraal station. The train station was built in 1889 and is one of the most iconic building in Amsterdam.

我第一個目的地是荷蘭首都阿姆斯特丹。中央火車站離Schiphol機場很近。那時是聖誕節，有一棵很大的聖誕樹在火車站前。火車站是在1889年建造的，是阿姆斯特丹的地標之一。

The next day, I decided to I walk around the city and take some photos. Well, I believe canals (but not cannabis :D ) is the most iconic thing in Amsterdam. Amsterdam contain 90 islands that are interconnected by 165 canals and 1,500 bridges. The canal system was created to transport goods in the ancient time.

第二天，我決定在城市走走拍拍照。我認為運河最能代表阿姆斯特丹了。阿姆斯特丹有90個小島，由165條運河和1500條橋連繫著。運河系統是在古代用作運輸貨物的。

The night-view of Amsterdam is also brilliant. Every Christmas, there is a event called Amsterdam Light Festival (you may visit: https://amsterdamlightfestival.com/en). The light artwork lighten up the city.

阿姆斯特丹的夜景也十分漂亮。每逢聖誕都會舉行阿姆斯特丹光影節。霓虹燈藝術都會照亮整個城市。

If you are tired of walking, you may rent a bike to ride. Amsterdam is the most bicycle-friendly city in the world. About 60% of citizen travel by bike.

如果你走累了，可以租自行車。阿姆斯特丹是全球自行車使用率最高的城市。有六成市民都會以自行車代步。

If you want to know more about history of the Netherlands, I suggest you to visit the Anne Frank house and the Rijksmuseum. If you are an art-lover, then go visit the Van Gogh museum.

如要認識阿姆斯特丹的歷史，你可以參觀安尼法蘭克的家和Rijksmuseum。如果你是藝術愛好者，就參觀梵高博物館。
