My friends and I craved to eat Jollibee Chickenjoy so we decided to go to Doha. Apparently, it wasn’t in the plan to go somewhere else because we didn’t have enough money to buy anything fancy, but we went to Museum of Islamic Art to check out their night bazaar. People just put up their tent and sell anything there once Iftar starts. By the way, it’s the holy month (Ramadan) for Muslims that’s why people gather together to eat when the sun sets (Iftar) and end their fasting.
So here are some photos we had as we tried fried calamares, grilled isaw (intestine), Thailand mango, and milk tea.
It was a fun time for me because I got to escape the life being in our compound...room, kitchen, living room, empty streets, and the desert feels. I felt like a 5 year old girl being brought to the city and just wanted to run everywhere.
There’s so much to discover in Doha, and I’m excited to explore more of it. Thanks to my friends who were there to bring out the kid in me. 🧒💁♀️🙆♀️❤️
I was there yesterday. I loved it 😊

I felt great that day, at least I had a moment outside the compound. Hehe.
