Romania would be pretty cool - Leading up to the actual travel we could possibly post a language exchange between the two of us and get to know one another. I imagine Romanian would an interesting lesson topic here.

I love this idea! I would host you but I don't live in any of the areas you mentioned.. I live in Boise, ID.. which has a rep for being booring, that couldnt be farther from the truth. I encourage you to look up the Sawtooth mountains, stanley idaho and Bruneau sand dunes... I'm an artist as well, if you ever make your way through, I think it would be fun to host a like minded.

We could do an artistic travel exchange too if you ever wanted to try that - I live on Vancouver island 10 minutes from the ocean and a short walk into town - next to transit.

Art mingle just world wide :)
I have been a little hesitant about traveling to the US this year as on my last trip your airports and checkpoints where overly intrusive but I would still consider it.

That is understandable... It varies a decent amount depending on what airport you are flying into and from as well. I have had somem unpleasant experiences in some of the larger air ports...But I know that for the post part SEA and PDX are typically smooth sailing security.
At least from my experience. Im also a resident so I don't know how it may vary for a non resident.
Random fact, Im a dual citizen to canada, Ive never been to vancuver however. Ive heard good things!

Getting to Seattle from here isn't too bad as I can just take the clipper across and I am not really bothered. But the airports can be unkind, maybe a local flight from Seatle there would not be too bad.

artistic travel exchange?

I mean like you host me to do art over there for a spell and I host you sometime over here for a little stretch. Maybe a couple months before travel we spend some time collaborating on something creative. Team up and get to know one another for a bit. Plan an art project around the trip.

Maybe through exploring this idea further on the platform we could be invited other places in the world to do our artistic thing with other hosts. As people will get farmilair with us and see we aren't too crazy and a safe exchange can be done.

Eh it is a thought anyways haha.

Right now I am just testing the waters to see if people would be down for this type of thing. It would be interesting to become a steemit host family for nomad steemians.

I'm quite fond of this idea. We should keep it alive. how cool would it be if this community grew to be that tight, where it made it simpler for like minded people to not only connect but travel and live out their dreams.
