The first house of worship for the Muslim community of Central Aceh, Takengon is a mosque in the village of Bukit Kebayakan sub-district called Masjid Tue (Old Mosque). Tue Mosque was founded in 1901.Masjid Tua was formerly still roofed rumbia, namely leaves derived from sago and Ijuk leaves that are derived from the leaves of coconut leaves.
Tue Kebayakan mosque was built in 1920 by the people of Central Aceh with the Imam Masjid at that time Tgk. Imem Aman Baram with self-reliance community. Land used is a land waqaf one of Takengon society
The construction process even at that time the Dutch colonizers also donated 100 Golden but the mosque is still for the place of worship of Muslims.
Tue Kebayakan mosque is the second oldest mosque in Takengon located in the village of Kebayakan which is the oldest village in Central Aceh, which consists of three villagers namely Lot Kala, Jongok and Mount Hill.
Tue Mosque which was founded in 1920 was only used in 1927. And first used Reje Bukit (King of Hill) named R. Zainuddin as reje last hill. But in ancient times the mosque was used as a prayer jama'ah. But only Friday prayers, then in front of the mosque is made kusus place prayers Friday for mothers.
