The Daintree Ferry and Cape Tribulation.

in travel •  7 years ago

Well we have left sunny Cairns, with the clearest drinking water so far!!!
We decide to head to The Daintree and Cape Tribulation!
We didn't realise that it was a ferry crossing.... And a drive up a Mountain side, eeek...
We missed the sign when we drove off the ferry, that said "warning, narrow winding road"
I feel for Glen, as the road got narrower, and steeper, and conversation becoming almost non existent, when the enormity of the drive became apparent... the kicker being, we have to come back the same way!!!
The Daintree Forest was magical, it was noticeably cooler, and apparently almost impossible to dry your washing!
It was a beautiful place, with a deep connection with our planet... it made you take a minute to drink it in... and in this day and age, that is grounding!

The Daintree Ferry and Cape Tribulation.
