Hi everyone! By the way, please give me tips on how I can improve on my posts as this only my first post on Steemit. Today, I am going to talk about my trip to Mrauk U, Myanmar. I have visited many ancient kingdoms and relics from as far back as 1535 AD. Here are some pictures from my trip.
This is a photo showing many statues of Buddha. It dates back to the sixteenth century, 1554 to be exact. This is located in Koe-Thaung Temple. It means "Temple of 90,000 Buddha Images". Some of the relics have been destroyed due to the weather and time.
This is a photo of Koe-Thaung Temple. It is actually the biggest temple I had ever been to. Another temple that is similar to Koe-Thaung Temple is Shite-Thaung Temple which I will show now.
This is Shite-Thaung Temple which means "Temple of 80,000 Buddha Images". I would suggest others to visit these temples as even though it may be old and dusty, you will be able to see what these are built for. There is a saying "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift. That is why they call it the present."(It is from Oo Guay in Kung Fu Panda.)
