Tourists attraction in Nigeria

Vacation is a special bonding time for most families, the connections and memories formed during such family adventure make for stories that will last for generations. Children who are still in their formative years learn a lot from visiting new environment and interacting with people from different backgrounds. Some have even discovered their talent by chance while on vacation.
Nigeria, an African country on the Gulf of Guinea, is known for its natural landmarks and wildlife reserves.
Here, I present some of the beautiful places that leave memories linger

  1. Ife

    Ile Ife, also known as Ife, is an ancient Yoruba city in the southwestern part of Nigeria. Ile Ife is said to be dated back around 500 B.C. when it was founded and is the oldest Yoruba city. It is presently part of Osun State.Ife is home to one of Nigeria’s most prestigious universities, Obafemi Awolowo University, as well as the Natural History Museum of Nigeria.
  2. Matsirga Waterfalls
    The water of this magnificent fall have their source from springs on the Kagoro hills cascading from four different natural funnels off the sheer rock cliff from about 25 metres to form a large pool at the bottom.

    It is an area of outstanding natural beauty, which is both tranquil and breathtakingly beautiful.
    This is another treasure from Kaduna state. Matsirga waterfall is a spectacular group of waterfalls worth seeing.
  3. Obudu Cattle Ranch, Calabar

    Children will be tickled at the sight of baboons, hippos, elephants and other 50 species of wildlife including variety of fishes and birds. The Marshall cave Systems and Wikki Warm Springs are exciting attractions ideal for family fun. The Wikki River is a natural swimming ground. Yankari also has outdoor and indoor sports facilities and suitable accommodation.
  6. Ilorin
